No Barriers Here

No Barriers Here is an award-winning, equity-focused, arts-based approach to Advance Care Planning. It is designed for individuals, groups and communities who may experience marginalisation in healthcare.  It was originally co-produced with people with learning disabilities in 2019 and uses arts-based methods to support people to think about advance care planning, whilst ensuring the process is inclusive and accessible.

Advance care planning is a discussion between an individual and their care provider(s). It is to make clear an individual's wishes and preferences about their future care and treatment. For further information follow this link Leeds Palliative Care Network - Advance Care Planning.

No Barriers Here provides a safe and creative space for participants to reflect on what matters most to them - exploring preferences, choices, and wishes for living well and planning for end-of-life care.
