This training is suitable for: - Senior Clinicians working in The Primary Care Team.
Do you have discussions with patients who are planning ahead, including conversations about ReSPECT and end of life care? Are you an existing ReSPECT signatory who has not attended advanced communication skills training, or would you like a refresher?
Then this communication skills training session is for you!
Free places are available for health care staff who work in The Primary Care Team to attend an interactive, face to face communication skills training session which focuses on having challenging conversations around key areas in Planning Ahead. The areas that this conversation may include are:
- Advance Care Planning
- The ReSPECT process including; resuscitation recommendations and treatment escalation
Applicants must be senior clinicians (Band 6 or above) and be in a patient facing role that involves palliative and end of life care / advanced care planning conversations.
